Our 100% Full Blood Wagyu bulls hail from the finest genetics directly traceable to Imperial Japan. They are getting along great for the time being owing we believe to our selection criteria which prioritize both elite genetics and agreeable temperaments.

This is one of the 2 reasons we selected Wagyu bulls as our herd sires. In addition to the quality of meat, the Wagyu breed is know for its temperament. Calm animals are happy animals and much safer for each other and for all of us who care for them day in and day out.

With that let’s meet the bulls:

Jocko (fka United 350L) is a heavy muscled United son with top 1% Breeder Feeder Index values. He has a great combination of Calving Ease, Growth, Carcass Quality and $Profit traits. He boasts United and Shigehime bloodlines and ranks top 1-10% for Carcas Weight, Eye Muscle Area, Marble Score, Marble Fineness and all four $Profit Indexes.

Andy Stumpf (fka Sunny 421M) is a Calving Ease, high-Marbling and $Profit beef train. He’s a stout-made, wide based and deep bodied son of Sunnyside and Okutani lineage. His top 5% Eye Muscle Area, Marble Score, Marble Fineness and all four $Profit scenario traits are impressive.

We named our two exceptional bulls in honor of former Navy SEALs Jocko Willink and Andy Stumpf. Both men exemplify extraordinary humility, leadership, discipline, accountability, compassion and commitment to excellence—qualities we deeply respect and seek to reflect in our own farm practices, relationships and lives.
